Happy Veteran’s Day! 🇺🇸 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There’s something about watching your nations flag ripple in the wind on the back of a boat against the back drop of a city skyline getting further and further away. Even better is with all the colors of sunset fade into the light of a full moon 🌇➡️🌝 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Flags signify so much more than simply a nations colors, but it represents where we have come, where we are, and where we are going as a group of unified people. Be kind to your neighbors and be the good your flag has taught the rest of the world...no matter where you’re from! 🌎

You can’t tell, but I was freezing my 🍑 off! ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We began the hike only by the light of the morning moon 🌝 and slowly watched the colors of fall 🍁and misty waterfalls 💦appear before our eyes. It couldn’t have been a better start to our morning. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The best part of the hike was the ability to see 3 different falls all in one path. Each waterfall was beautifully different in height, mist, and foliage color. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The peacefulness of nature is intoxicating and it always reminds me how much I love being apart of it.

Chasing waterfalls and fall colors 💦🍁 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No matter how far you travel to experience something new, it is always worth it! I often think that traveling within the United States isn’t as exotic or exciting as traveling overseas, but what I forget is how grand and diverse my “backyard” is. 🇺🇸 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Asheville has been on my to-do list for some time. The 1 hour flight ✈️ , chic downtown 🏢, delicious local foods 🥬, surprising funky beers 🍺 (that I thoroughly enjoyed), and the great outdoors ⛰made a weekend getaway well worth it. So if you haven’t put Asheville on your list of US cities to visit, put it on there! I promise you won’t regret it! ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sometimes your own backyard can be the greatest place to explore. Help me add to my list! What city in the USA is a must see? 🗽

I love looking back at photos from the past year and seeing all the places I’ve been and all the things I’ve done. Photos are our own storybook, but it’s up to us to tell the story that goes with them.📖 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No matter how near or far my travels take me, I am constantly reminded of the beauty there is everywhere, and for that, I am grateful I get to experience it all.🙏🏼 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I can’t wait for my next adventure and the many more to come! ✈️

Hello October! 🍁Can we now say that it’s officially the holiday season yet? The next 3 months are my favorite of the year! ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love roaming the streets and witnessing the bungalow houses and my little Hallmark-like village transform from the pumpkins 🎃 of fall to the twinkling lights 🎄of Christmas. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The next 3 months will fly by, but I can’t wait to see what they hold and experience new and old places in between. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What is your favorite part of the holiday season?

I was reminded this morning, that’s it’s the little things that mean the most and leave a lasting memory. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here is a short list of just some of the memories that I cherish most:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Walking the streets of New Haven and Yale 🎓*⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tasting new local breweries 🍻*⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Making a home cooked birthday with a cake 🎂*⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Off roading in Jeeps 🚗 *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Biking to yoga classes 🧘🏼‍♀️ ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I encourage you to take a few moments to recall some moments in your life that mean a lot to you and then I challenge you to do 1 simple act of kindness this week that may mean a lot to someone around you 🥰

One of the things I love most about the New England area is the amount of history you can encounter. The buildings behind me were built in 1840 and remodeled in 1914. If you zoom into the rock water basin, it is inscribed with the year of 1894. It is said to be the oldest Homestead in America as it sits on the foundations of a house dated 1663! 🕰 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Besides the quaintness of the buildings 🏡, the gorgeous rose gardens 🌹, and the massive swaying green trees 🌳, I can’t help but wonder who may have walked these same rolling hills or the events that may have occurred here centuries ago. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I believe we appreciate history more as we grow older. What place has brought you back in time? ⏳

Don’t forget to laugh at least once a day!🤣 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ They say laughter cures all and I 100% believe it! I find myself smiling and laughing at the smallest things whether around others or by myself and I wouldn’t have it any other way! ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Recently, I find myself having the best belly laughs multiple times a day and I think it makes a difference in how I approach the day. I am happier, more carefree, hopeful, excited to make new memories, and dance incessantly💃🏼 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve realized how important it is to surround yourself with people who make you belly laugh and I can’t imagine a day without it 🥰 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What or who makes you belly laugh?

Is he a “Man at Work” or is he hardly working?! 🤔 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Old town Bratislava is filled with statues, but “Man at Work” is the most popular one, as he’s peeping above a sewer hole to check out all the people as they pass by. I couldn’t help but see things from his perspective! 👀 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As much as I would love to travel full time, I am lucky to have a job that allows me the freedom to take off whenever I desire to. I have come to deeply appreciate where life has taken me and the opportunities I have, along with the immense freedom I am afforded. With this freedom, it allows me to dream about my next trip, whether near or far, and the ability to roam a city with pure contentment. 🛫🗺⛵️ ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do you experience freedom?

Is this not the cutest cafe?! ☕️🍵 ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I find that strolling the streets aimlessly, I tend to find the most adorable cafes and shops no matter where I am. This little spot in Sedona is one I will not forget. @thechaispot prepared the freshest chai tea I’ve ever tasted and had a view to match. Every corner of this store was cozy and picture perfect. ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On a hot summer day, a nice iced coffee or tea is exactly what you need. I tend to stick with iced tea later in the day, but love my cappuccino in the morning! ∙⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Are you a coffee or tea drinker?
